How Much do 3D Artists Make?

Before we start diving into details I want to clarify that these numbers are from www.GlassDoor.com, Game Developer Magazine’s annual salary survey, and the experience of artists working in the film and game development industry.

Of course the more work you do the more experience you are going to get, as a result, your value increases and you will be paid more.

For example, a junior artist is not going to get paid like a senior or a lead artist would.

There are other factors that can play a role in how much artists are paid, such as the studio or the company they are working at and their Ability to specialize just to name a few.

First, we are going to look at it from an experience standpoint, I mean how many years artists worked in the industry and how that is affecting their pay.
